D3-P Model Rocket Motor Engines - Six Pack

The Klima D3-P is an 18 mm D-class motor built for a long, steady burn rather than a quick kick. It's a plugged motor, which means there's no ejection charge — nothing is fired out of the top at burnout.

That makes it the go-to choice for rocket gliders and rocket cars, where you want a long burn and don't want the spent casing ejected or the centre of gravity shifting mid-flight. It also works brilliantly as an outboard motor in a cluster, stretching flight times right out — just make sure your recovery is sorted separately, since a plugged motor won't deploy a parachute on its own.

Each pack contains 6 D3-P motors along with Klima's own electric igniters, so you've everything you need to fire them from an electrical launch controller. Handy for glider and car builders, cluster experimenters and club sessions alike.
